Mission Beach is a three hour drive from Townsville and two hours drive from Cairns Sealords is a leisurely five minute beach walk to Clump Point Jetty; a twenty minute walk to Mission Beach shops and restaurants. Clump Point Jetty is your gateway to Dunk Island and the Barrier Reef for scuba diving snorkeling or bushwalking Dunk Island's National Park. Nestled beneath the rainforest backdrop of Clump Mountain National Park, Sealords is sometimes visited by the elusive Cassowary (a two metre high rainforest bird) which is now an endangered species - the Mission Beach area is one of its most important habitats. |
